Hello Framer Team,
I would love to see a feature that allows users to create plugins directly through AI using natural language.
Instead of searching the Marketplace and hoping that a suitable plugin already exists, users could simply describe the functionality they need, and Framer would generate a working plugin on demand.
Examples:
"Rename selected layers based on their content."
"Export all text content to CSV."
"Create a sitemap from all pages."
"Organize selected layers into categories."
"Generate alt text for all images."
The goal is not just AI-assisted coding, but a new workflow where users describe a problem and instantly receive a custom tool that solves it.
To ensure safety, generated plugins could run in a secure sandbox with controlled permissions and clear access requests before execution.
This would transform the plugin ecosystem from a marketplace of predefined tools into a dynamic platform where every user can create exactly the functionality they need, when they need it.
I believe this could become one of Framer's most innovative and powerful features, making advanced customization accessible to everyone, regardless of coding experience.
Thank you for considering this idea.
