The recent product update removing the inline Transition Preview control introduces massive friction to the design workflow. While it might have been intended to clean up the UI or optimize editor performance, removing the ability to dynamically preview transition timing within the properties panel drastically slows down the iteration process.
For professional workflows that require precise, high-end motion design, losing this feature means we now have to constantly jump back and forth into full viewport preview mode or publish test builds just to check a minor tweak to a spring animation or variant interaction.
Why this matters:
Drastic Workflow Friction: Fine-tuning complex interaction states now requires triple the number of clicks and constant context-switching.
Loss of Fine Control: Precision animation requires immediate visual feedback. Forcing designers into full preview mode breaks the immediate loop of adjusting curves and seeing the result instantly.
Production Slowdowns: For teams delivering custom, high-fidelity client projects, this change acts as a bottleneck during the final interaction QA and polish phases.
Please consider restoring the Transition Preview toggle, or providing a dedicated hotkey/shortcut to trigger local transition playbacks directly within the design canvas.
