When a CMS collection is synced through a plugin or import, every field becomes read-only. That part is fine. The problem is that read-only fields get the disabled styling: light grey text on a grey background, in both the table view and the item editor. In light mode it's very hard to read; dark mode is a bit better but still faint.

Why this is needed: right now the only way to read synced content comfortably is to open the source system or switch to dark mode. Greyed-out text reads as "empty or unavailable" rather than "managed elsewhere," and it's an accessibility problem for anyone with low vision.
