Slider / Carousel / Ticker with CMS content

I'd love for a slider, carousel or ticker component to be more dynamic with CMS content. At the moment they have to link to individual frames in order to create "slides", where I'd love for each slide to be an item in a Collection List from the CMS – this doesn't feel possible right now unless I'm missing something?
This is so we could create dynamic carousels or slideshows from content in the CMS which can contain a variable amount of items in a collection list.

BIG ONE. Game-changer. In the category of EPIC. Please, please, please Framerrrrrrrrrrrrr...
I would LOVE to be able to drop a collection list outside the canvas, drop a card component into it, and then connect the list to an on-canvas slideshow or carousel and have the slides adjust to the number of items. Think: showing off a list of services, team members, testimonials, etc within a section dynamically. Currently I can't even get Workshop to help me create a code component that works properly with this due to limitations with the Framer CMS API..???

Hi! This is possible with a Gallery field on a CMS collection:
And with a Gallery collection with an Image field:
You can insert a repeater into the Ticker and adapt it to repeat on the correct collection or field :)

Yes this would be amazing! One more nuance I would like to make sure we request here explicitly even though Lauren, you have already implied it...
This new feature, should also support 'fit content' so that if different CMS content is longer or shorter the size of each slide would be 'cinched' up to fit, preventing huge discrepancies in white space, or ugly overflows... Making responsive breakpoints on sliders, carousels, and tickers 1000% easier to manage. (and reduce testimonial edit approvals from clients 🫠, we use these features for testimonials more than anything else... obvy)
