Currently, the manual drag-and-drop order in the CMS is only used within the CMS itself and isn't available as a sorting option on the frontend.
It would be incredibly useful if CMS Lists could respect the same manual order that's set in the CMS dashboard. This would eliminate the need to create a separate Order field just to control the display sequence.
Why this matters:
  • Makes content management much more intuitive.
  • Eliminates the need for an extra numeric "Order" field.
  • Lets editors visually arrange content exactly as it should appear on the website.
  • Keeps the CMS and frontend in sync, improving the overall workflow.
I've been missing this feature since I started using Framer. It would greatly simplify managing documentation, FAQs, feature lists, timelines, and any manually curated content.
I hope this can be prioritized, as it would significantly improve the CMS editing experience.
