Support nested CMS routes with multiple dynamic URL variables
M
Miles Okoro
Please add support for nested CMS URL structures using multiple dynamic variables.
Currently, Framer only supports a single dynamic route variable, for example:
/locations/:slug
This prevents building scalable hierarchical URL structures such as:
/locations/gloucester
/locations/gloucester/service-name
/category/subcategory/item
A native solution for routes like:
/locations/:location/:slug
or support for inheriting parent slugs from referenced CMS collections would make Framer far more scalable for content-rich websites.
This would be highly valuable for directories, multi-location businesses, ecommerce categories, local service websites, and any site requiring SEO-friendly parent-child URL structures.
I'm not sure if there is a manual workaround for this at present.
Thank you.

Nested slugs for CMS collection pages
J
Jakob Hauritz
I'd like CMS collection pages to support URLs like /guides/:guide/:page. That would let me group multiple pages under one parent, hub-and-spoke style, and keep existing URL structures when migrating to Framer.
Right now the slug field doesn't accept /, and the collection path setting doesn't support variables. So I can't build this.
It would work if the collection path could include a parent field value (e.g. /guides/:guide/:slug), or if the slug field allowed /.
