I ran out of AI credits and was prompted to upgrade to Basic to get more. I paid $15 expecting to immediately receive the 1,000 credits that Basic offers... that's literally the reason I upgraded. Instead, I got nothing. Zero credits. The reset date is July 1st for both Free and Basic, so upgrading 6 days before the reset gives exactly the same credits as staying on Free: none until July 1st.

The problem is that the upgrade prompt appears precisely when you run out of credits, making users believe that paying will solve their immediate problem. It doesn't. You pay $15 and still can't use the product until the reset date.

This feels deceptive, even if unintentional. The upgrade flow should clearly state: "You won't receive new credits until July 1st. Upgrading now will not restore your current credits." Without that disclosure, users are being charged for something that provides no immediate value
