Baffles me why this is not a basic function. Makes for a horrible user experience and the code I have found to apparently override this is not working for me.

Currently when we upload a PDF and have it open in a new tab it creates a URL which is an extension of the website URL. So, something like http://example.com/pdf.
However, when you try downloading the file, it loses its original file name and gets downloaded with a random name like - 32424824686767.pdf. Even the URL above shows random numbers instead of the pdf name. This doesn't look professional.
Currently the only solution is to not have the link open in a new tab and directly download it in order to preserve the file name.
Can you please add this feature?

I made a component to make this work but only if you download directly and not open it in a new tab for viewing and download. but if I try to open in a new tab then the name is a mess

It would be a lovely addition if we could see an update where the files that have been downloaded with a button wouldn't change their name to 'asdadasvdsvsf' and random character series. Would be good even if they have the original (upload) name at download.
Just because on mobile my client's leads see a random 'Trojan-like' file being downloaded in the form of a PDF, and it's very bad-looking. 😬
